Vanessa's experience in the Education sector spans over almost two decades. Over the years Vanessa's pinnacle roles in Education included Chief Executive Officer, Registered Training Organisation Manager and Operations & Quality Assurance Manager.

As well as quality education, Vanessa is passionate about fostering a healthy workspace for Industry and Kingstones employees. Vanessa is committed to raising awareness and providing support for those who suffer Mental Illness in the creative industries.

Susan is passionate about innovative education, positive media and the future of fashion. She has a bachelor in Fashion and a master’s in Business and has run a successful online boutique.
She has worked for a number of fashion and beauty brands in the areas of trend forecasting and styling, visual merchandising, regional management, social media and marketing coordination, online editing and feature writing. She has worked as a creative industry and fashion trainer for over seven years at registered training organisations and universities.
She has a particular interest in the history of fashion but has her fingers on the pulse of trends and industry shifts in the ever changing digital fashion landscape of today. She is committed to providing her students at Kingstone's with a contemporary and conscious education of the fashion industry as well as providing an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Her guiding philosophies include; in order to inspire others, think, act & communicate from the inside out and to build social capital, share positive ideas.
Carly consults to major clients in both Australia and USA, from topics of social media strategy (with marketing budgets in excess of 1.5m), event production, fundraising expertise for NFP entities, fashion start up advice from manufacturing to business entity creation right through to pop-up stores in LA to trade shows in Paris. A career stand out was attending Paris Fashion Week in March 2019 where representing designers from company Not Just a Label.
Carly runs workshops of anywhere up to 4 hours in duration around the topics of the importance of personal branding, creating events, networking skills and business start up. Some of the main Universities she has spoken at are: Dixie State University Utah, Billie Blue Sydney, Creative Enterprise CEA Queensland University of Technology, and California State University.
Carly founded and directed the fashion event Brisbane Fashion Month successfully until selling this in 2018. This saw her running over 30 events, from sponsorship acquisition, to council incorporation, designer on boarding and the running of 12 staff and 80 volunteers. Events included, pop up shops, fashion film festivals, state-wide fashion competition, large scale gala runways, private VIP press events, workshops, Q&A series and sewing skills. Carly also had her own fashion label which she also founded and ran before selling in early 2018.
Megan Farquharson is a Professional Makeup Artist based in Brisbane, Australia. She has been working in the industry for approximately 8 years in a variety of areas from Film & Television, to Freelancing for Advertising, Fashion, Bridal and Special Events. She also is known for her Creative Makeup Artistry, as featured in the Skin-Deep Learning Magazine, Creative Makeup edition, which she contributed as a content writer and featured Makeup Artist.
Her work within the Australian Film & Television industry includes such projects as: ‘Thor Ragnarok’, ‘Aquaman’, and ABC International’s ‘Reef Break’ just to name a few. Megan has also featured numerous times, demonstrating her Creative Makeup skills on TV programs such as: Totally Wild, Toasted TV, and Brain Buzz.
She has been a regular presenter at the Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo, discussing and demonstrating a variety of Makeup styles and applications.
She was the co-creator and host of the annual “Monster Makeup Massacre” SPFX Makeup competition held at Netherworld, bringing hundreds of creatives together to celebrate the Australian SPFX Makeup Industry.
She is also the co-creator of the Queensland MUA Network, a group dedicated to communication, information and events held in QLD to support working Makeup Artists.
Megan is a dedicated to training and mentoring the next generation of Makeup Artists, she aims to provide her students with the best possible start in the industry and often provides work experience opportunities to students who show potential and dedication.
